Awesome employees that are very helpful and with it, not like zombie-like Walmart employees. I generally find everything I'm looking for at Aldi and the checkout line is never as bad as going to other grocery stores.
Love this store! At 1st I didn't like it because I wasn't aware going in that I wouldn't be able to find very specific items I was shopping for. Not a good place to go for recipe shopping. It is great though if you're shopping for not so specific items. It is very cheap! I save a ton of money here, not only on food, but also on their random items. They carry lawn/garden items, dishes, some clothes, etc. Their produce is not refridgerated, so don't expect that. Bring your own bag/box or buy one there. You use a quarter to get a shopping cart, then get it back when you return it. Some items they carry, that you might not expect to find there are organic eggs, soy & almond milk, & German grocery items.
Great place to stock up on food. It is cheaper and they don't use plastic bags. So either buy reusable bags there $0.10 each, bring your own, or use some of their boxs.
I can usually get out of there for a weeks worth of groceries including meat for less than $40. Just bring a quarter for the cart (you’ll get it back) and your own bags. If you forget bags you can purchase them for a dime or use empty boxes.
So many of the products have better ingredients, less artificial and unnecessary additives. The prices are fantastic! The selection is fantastic and surprising because it's such a small grocery store. I love that they discourage use of plastic bags by not providing them for free.
