This terminal reweighed a shipment incorrectly. Original weight was 1090 lbs and this terminal found it to weigh 1690lbs. I have shipped hundreds of these pallets in the past and I know for a fact that they 1090lbs or less. I called customer service before the shipment delivered and they said that I had to file a claim with their weights and measures department. We sent Saia the packing list with the proof of the correct weight and they reversed the added charges. Waste of time for everyone!!
