Unfriendly driver, charged 10$ a person to go 2 miles from Air Force base to airport. Major price gouging and said the wrong price when I called.
As a former driver for Skylark, there is a lot of shady stuff at Skylark. As in telling a person their fired by telling their roommate. I have owned business's in the past but I have never had been apart of a train wreck like this. You are supposed to be a contractor, and the meaning of being a contractor is that you sit your days to work and to where you can work the better money days or nights (in most work including cab companies). Well if you mess one night and tell them in enough time you get hollered and screamed at. They set your schedule and make days that you are off mandatory to where you have to work them. Also don't ask for a day off because you will not get it. They are not driver friendly. The drivers that are out there are trying to make a living and provide for their families. Please tip them because Skylark is robbing them of everything else...
I am an international student and have been doing business with Skylark since 2012, even more so for Fall 16' and Spring 17' because of my internship. Today 06/01/17, I called for a cab and the very illiterate receptionist response was ENGLISH please!! I am from an English speaking country and I speak the same English as her. If my accent , for some possible reason was hard to understand , which never in the past it was then she should have politely asked me to repeat. Not even me having to wait for an hour or having to call back because they forgot the request could have upset me enough to write a review, but the incident today was. Never will I ever be doing services with this company again. To the management please provide a mandatory class to prospective and current employees about customer service. God bless.
I placed at 4:40pm I placed a reservation for 5pm, at 5:15pm when I called to find out where the car was, a representative told me that it was the mididle of shift change and someone would be out in 20 mins. I got an Uber instead.
They purposely go slow and go over speed bumbs to rack up the money and scam people
