I buy all of my son's clothes here. The clothes are of great quality, material, and trendy! The staff are friendly and helpful, and always greet us with a smile. The manager, Sandy, is sweet and kind and always takes the time to help handpick the best and sharpest looking outfits for my son. Keep up all the great work you guys do, and continue to go above and beyond as always.
The lady that runs the place is gorgeous and sweet. My kids and grandkids love the clothes. They are inexpensive and not itchy like those other stores clothes.
I have ALWAYS LOVED THIS store. I am not from WF anymore, but still love to buy their clothes for my lil' one when there. I've NEVER been treated with such unkindness as I was yesterday. I don't believe a person must explain their physical "ailments," as I'd just come from my Neurologist office. Perhaps my continuous shaking, or shuffling gate as yes I move slow made the Sales Associate UNCOMFORTABLE? There was only one other customer in the store. I was trying to take advantage of the Great Sales I had seen on-line before they ended yesterday. And with over $100+ worth of adorable items made my way to checkout. Sandy, I believe her name was, was up on a ladder taking pictures and shouted, "Are you ready to check out yet?" The entire time I was there she never made eye contact with me, and IMO lacked the friendliness I'd ALWAYS received at this Great store for 6 years. She asked if I was a Rewards Customer, of Course I am :) But I've changed phone #'s. She was too busy for me too give her my NEW #, and said, "Nevermind it doesn't matter anyways." As she proceeded to checkout I slided my card. I told her ahead of time my "chip," doesn't work at all because it's scratched. Mind you I have no problem ANYWHERE ELSE. I've had my cards longer than stores started using the chips. And yes I've even gotten some replaced. The more you use them, the more they scratch. Still only one customer in the store, she had already CANCELLED MY SALE, and before even asking if I had a different form of payment..... very rudely said, "Well your card won't work here so I have to cancel it, sorry." I then again explained why it doesn't and she said, "It won't work here and we can't enter it any other way so I'm sorry." She THEN began asking the other lady if she was ready to checkout. I had already decided that apparently there was a reason and smiled and said thank you. My sister on the other hand wasn't as forgiving, as she works in Clothing retail, And mentioned to Sandy if she could have maybe not cancelled everything and snatched all my items to be put away...... Then usually a customer has another form of payment. I had already started making my way out. Because you see, for whatever reason and I told my sister, "I don't know why that happened. I don't know why I just got the bad news from the Neurologist, but this I can tell you Chel. God knows! And a little kindness goes a long way. I had the money to spend at TCP, but was apparently judged from the moment I walked in the door? And you know people never know what's going on in someone's life, or what kind of a day they've had, but I will continue to have a kind and loving and giving spirit with a GOOD ATTITUDE towards everyone. We reap what we sow, and Sandy had her mind made up and there was no use in it upsetting me." I still believe TCP has Great Clothes and Great Prices. However yesterday, a valuable lesson was learned and reminded to me again. Again, this is MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with this store, and this one sales associate. I'll not let one bad apple stop me from shopping there. However, if my money is no good there, I will order on-line from here on out.
