15 years out and I am so glad I went here. The environment is great - not too big and not too small. No parking issues, wonderful students and staff, and nice business school are just some of the many perks here.
I thoroughly appreciate the small class size relative to some of the larger schools within nearby Texas. I have plenty of opportunities to ask questions to professors outside of classes and that "A"
As a 1st year college parent.. I can say MSU was the perfect choice for our son. I myseft worried about him getting into the wrong group or not making friends. Thank you for all of the christian activities they have he fits right in and has maid long lasting friends.. He is very happy at MSU and that makes it eaiser to keep his grades up! Enjoys his classes and instructers... Thank you MSU
I'm transferring after this semester. The lack of clubs and organizations is what gets me the most. Other than the Greek or religious organizations there's not much else. So if you're too poor to join a sorority/fraternity or not religious, this isn't the school for you. I love the wellness center and Sikes lake, both are awesome to go to when you need to relieve some stress. The town is small but nice, it has many restaurants and stores to go to. The diversity is great here. Dining is pretty bad (especially on the weekends). I found it hard to make many friends here. It definitely needs some changes.
I attended this school for three years. The professors, for the most part, are great. I had my favorite professor at this institution, but this college is not a choice school. From what I gathered while I was there it is a "budget" school where you go there if you have to. I'm not saying this due to the price, but due to the quality of education. The professors do what they can, and it works well for lecture type classes, but for any classes needing hands on experience or technological study this college is extremely lacking. Wichita falls is also a city strewn with poverty and bigots. Like any city there is bad and good, but looking at anything online about the city of wichita falls shows the lackluster state of affairs this place has to offer. The college and city fit for some, but for most I would not recommend spending your time or money here.
