I love this place! If only I lived near it I would go everyday. They have a rare favorite of mine... Lavender macchiato/latte! How wonderful! Thank you for having that as an option.
Gotta love a local coffee roaster! We get our beans here all the time, and they are usually roasted in the past few days!

The owners are clearly coffee enthusiasts. The atmosphere feels European cafe without pretention. The coffee selection is excellent. Organic beans, housemade lavender syrup, interesting seasonal drinks and all the regular coffee selection you expect. Plus gelato, small food selection, wine and beer, daily specials and events (beer yoga, mommy's day). To top it off a super friendly, knowledgeable staff and they give to a new non profit every month allowing you to round up your sale total to contribute. The Odd Duck is a beautiful experience!
The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was pretty neat. I love the idea of freshly roasted coffee in the mornings and am willing to drive to downtown to get it. The only issue was when I went at 8:00a.m., they had only had their light roast available. The light roast is pleasant if you don't like slot of bitterness or bite to your coffee and is very fruity and acidic. It was a little watered down and I would have preferred something a little darker but very tasty non the less. I will definitely go back to try their other roasts.
