I'm so grateful for the Transfer Station! I love that I can recycle here AND don't have to drive out to the landfill. Thank you, City of Wichita Falls!
There is NO update on this website to let a person know that the transfer station is "temporarily closed ". It will be closed until August 1, 2016. The woman at the transfer station wasn't very nice. She acted like it was an inconvenience to give me any information. She was mad because I had pulled in and got out of my vehicle and walked over to the shack to ask a question!
Hmm... checked the website and it says open 8am-5pm on Saturday... loaded up materials to take there and when we arrive at 1pm the gates are locked ..the big sign out front even said they were open but yet it's all locked up.. city of Wichita Falls is a joke... if your not going to open then update your website and signs!!!
