This La Quinta feels recently renovated. The furnishings and appliances are modern and acceptable. The bedding was comfortable. There are moments when the age of the Inn still manifest itself such as in the bathroom, the shower and toilet feel and look dated. However, it does not detract significantly from the overnight experience. The continental breakfast was acceptable. The hotel look looks acceptable as well.
Arrived around midnight to spend the night on the way to Dallas. The staff was friendly but the room was awful. There were live bugs in the beds. The sheets and blankets had stains. The toilet was dirty as well as the shower. The sink would not drain. I expected much better from La Quinta. We stayed in the one closest to the airport. I would never stay there again.
This is not what I would expect from a La Quinta. The lobby closes at 11pm. This is a cross between a motel and a run down apartment complex. The girl at the front desk was great though. The first room had two dirty socks on the floor and what appeared to be black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The 2nd room had stains on the bed sheets. Shower pressure was very good. Motel is noisy.
Four dead roaches in the bathroom, more in the tub. They only agreed to refund my money when people checking in heard me complain. The employees were disrespectful and sarcastic.
I was very pleased with our room. We stayed in a handicap room. It was a good size with a leather recliner, table and chairs. The bathroom was large and convenient. The motel has been updated with a tasteful decor. The beds are new and very comfortable with crisp white sheets, white comforter and fluffy pillows. It was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. We will definitely stay here again on our travels. A real plus is the motel is dog friendly. Vert nice and friendly lady at front desk and great price for a room.
